Madalyn Watlington, MD, is a pediatrician at Ochsner Health in Abita Springs, Louisiana, providing comprehensive care for children from infancy through adolescence. She is passionate about building lasting relationships with families and creating a comfortable, welcoming environment where children and parents feel heard, supported and valued.

A native of Houma, Louisiana, Dr. Watlington earned her medical degree from Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in New Orleans. She then completed her pediatric residency at Our Lady of the Lake Children's Hospital in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

As both a pediatrician and a mother, Dr. Watlington believes parents are experts on their own children and values partnering with families to provide evidence-based guidance tailored to each child's unique needs. Outside of medicine, Dr. Watlington enjoys spending time with her husband and children, hiking, baking and making everyday moments special through family traditions and seasonal celebrations.
