Madelaine Fontenot, MD, practices internal medicine at Ochsner Health. Dr. Fontenot has experience in preventative care as well as the diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic illness in adults of all ages. Dr. Fontenot earned her medical degree at the American University of the Caribbean School of Medicine in 2018. She completed her internal medicine residency with Louisiana State University in Lafayette, Louisiana, in 2021. She is board-certified in internal medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine in 2021. Dr. Fontenot is dedicated to addressing the medical needs of her patients while understanding individual concerns and goals. She has been practicing at Ochsner Lafayette General since 2021. Outside of medicine, she enjoys reading historical novels, baking and spending time with her husband and two sons.
