Mallory K. Cantero, FNP, practices internal medicine at Ochsner Health. She offers comprehensive care for all primary care needs, including chronic diseases and acute issues. 

Mallory was born and raised in the New Orleans area and attended Mount Carmel Academy for high school. She obtained her Bachelor of Science in nursing degree from Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in New Orleans. While working as a registered nurse in the emergency department, she studied at University of Louisiana at Lafayette and graduated in 2015 with her Master of Science in nursing in family nurse practitioner studies. 

Upon graduation, Mallory has been practicing in family medicine with a focus on patient engagement and satisfaction. She regularly attends Louisiana Association of Nurse Practitioner conferences and engages in multidisciplinary continuing education to stay updated on the most current guidelines and evidence-based practices. 

Mallory is dedicated to addressing the needs of the whole patient and working collaboratively with specialists to ensure high quality care for all her patients. She considers the patient-provider relationship sacred and is dedicated to providing a safe place for patients to come and discuss their problems and concerns without fear of judgement. 

Outside of clinic, Mallory enjoys reading, watching her three children participate in multiple extracurricular activities, watching true crime documentaries with her husband and cheering on the LSU Tigers.
