Mandy Keown, NP, practices family medicine at Ochsner Health. She received both her bachelor of science degree in nursing and her master of science degree in family nurse practitioner studies from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. She completed clinical rotations in pediatrics, women’s health and family medicine. Prior to joining the Ochsner primary care team, Mandy practiced as a nurse practitioner in various skilled nursing facilities and long-term nursing homes settings throughout the Lafayette, Louisiana area. Mandy is board certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. She actively participates in the Louisiana Association of Nurse Practitioners and American Academy of Nurse Practitioners to stay updated on medical advancements.

Mandy is dedicated to addressing the medical needs of her patients while understanding individual concerns and goals. Outside of medicine, she enjoys volunteering with the Kiwanis Club, traveling, hiking, baking and spending time with family and friends.
