Marissa D. Gregoire, DNP, FNP-BC, practices palliative medicine at Ochsner Health. She is a board-certified family nurse practitioner with over 15 years of experience providing patient-focused care across many disciplines. She received her Bachelor of Science in nursing from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette in 2009 and earned her Master of Science in nursing from Chamberlain University in Downers Grove, Illinois, in 2019. She holds a Doctorate of Nursing Practice from Chatham University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. 

Marissa is focused on improving quality of life for patient with serious, chronic or life-threatening illnesses. She provides comprehensive care and is dedicated to addressing the physical, emotional and spiritual needs of patients. 
 
As a nurse practitioner, her philosophy of care is grounded in conviction that everyone is deserving of high-quality care, regardless of their socioeconomic status, or cultural or religious background. Marissa believes that effective care involves not only treating patients but connecting with them. With a holistic approach, she listens carefully to patients’ concerns and empowers them to be informed participants in their care.  

In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with family.
