Biography
Mark earned his Master of Science in nursing from Southeastern Louisiana University in 2024, where he also completed his Bachelor of Science in nursing in 2010. He previously earned a Bachelor of Science from Louisiana State University in 2007. He is board-certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. To remain engaged in ongoing professional growth and clinical advancement, Mark is an active member of the American Nurses Association, the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, the Louisiana Association of Nurse Practitioners—including both the Greater New Orleans and Northshore regions—and Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing (Rho Zeta Chapter).
Throughout his nursing career and advanced practice training, Mark developed strong skills in comprehensive assessment, diagnostic reasoning, chronic disease management and preventive health. His background in critical care, primary care and hospital medicine has strengthened his ability to manage complex patient needs, apply advanced clinical judgment and synthesize information to guide evidence-based decisions. He is committed to compassionate communication, patient education and building therapeutic relationships that honor each patient’s goals and values.
Mark has served Ochsner Health in various clinical capacities since 2022. Outside of clinical practice, he enjoys reading, fishing and outdoor activities, running, cycling, cooking and baking, and exploring history, culture and travel. He is a member of the Knights of Columbus, Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church and a leader within the Come Lord Jesus organization.
