Biography
Dr. McQueen received his undergraduate degree from Duke University and his medical degree from the University of Tennessee in Memphis. He completed residency at Ochsner Health in family medicine then fellowship in primary care sports medicine at the Hughston Clinic in Columbus, Georgia. He is board-certified by the American Board of Family Medicine and holds a certificate of additional qualifications in sports medicine.
Dr. McQueen served in the U.S. Navy for 29 years between active and reserve service. He was a designated naval flight surgeon, and he graduated from the U.S. Naval War College with a master’s degree in strategic studies.
Dr. McQueen has been on staff at Ochsner since 1997. He enjoys masters swimming and bicycling in his free time.
