Biography
Dr. Meredith Allain received her undergraduate degree from Wofford College in Spartanburg, South Carolina, and her medical degree from Louisiana State University School of Medicine in New Orleans. Following this, she completed her internship in Pediatrics at Children's Hospital of New Orleans and residency in medical genetics at Stanford University Health Center in Stanford, California.
Dr. Allain is a board certified medical geneticist and has been practicing medicine since 2018. She has been on staff at Ochsner since 2019. Dr. Allain’s expertise is in medical genetics focusing on pediatrics. She enjoys the rapidly changing nature of her field.
