Miguel Aguilera, MD, specializes in interventional pain management at Ochsner Health. Dr. Aguilera has expertise in specialty procedures such as nerve blocks, epidurals, spinal cord stimulation, neuromodulation and regenerative medicine, offering comprehensive care for various complex chronic pain conditions. Dr. Aguilera earned his medical degree from Louisiana State University Medical School in New Orleans, and he obtained board certification in subspecialty pain medicine in 2023. He completed a fellowship at Ochsner Baptist in New Orleans. He stays engaged in the interventional pain medicine field through his involvement with multiple national and regional medical societies, in research and in teaching. Dr. Aguilera's patient-centered approach emphasizes compassionate care and personalized treatment plans. He is dedicated to addressing patients' medical needs while understanding individual concerns and goals. Outside of medicine, he enjoys traveling with his wife and children.
