Dr. Moira L. Ogden is a board-certified internal medicine physician and senior hospitalist at Ochsner Health. She earned her medical degree from the Morehouse School of Medicine in Atlanta, and went on to complete a combined residency in internal medicine and pediatrics at Louisiana State University in New Orleans.

Before joining Ochsner in 2011, Dr. Ogden owned and operated her own primary care practice while also serving patients at Terrebonne General Medical Center in Houma, Louisiana, for a decade. Since then, she has brought her deep experience and leadership to Ochsner, serving in hospitalist leadership roles and currently practicing as a part-time hospitalist at both the Ochsner Medical Center - New Orleans and Ochsner Baptist campuses.

Dr. Ogden is widely respected for her excellence as a clinician and her unwavering commitment to compassionate, high-quality care. She takes great pride in guiding patients through their hospital stay with dignity and empathy, helping them recover and return to healthier, more fulfilling lives.
