Biography
Molly Kimball, RDN, LDN, CSSD, is the director of Lifestyle Nutrition at Ochsner Health. She is the founder and director of Eat Fit, Ochsner’s nonprofit initiative that collaborates with more than 500 restaurants and foodservice partners throughout Louisiana to identify nutritious items on menus.
With expertise in sports nutrition and performance fueling, as well as community wellness and media communications, Molly contributes a weekly nutrition and wellness column in the Health section of The Advocate | The Times-Picayune. She also hosts a bi-weekly podcast, FUELED Wellness + Nutrition, and a weekly TV segment of the same name on WGNO, New Orleans’ ABC affiliate.
Molly earned two Bachelor of Science degrees (Nutrition and Dietetics, and Food Science and Technology) from Louisiana State University in 1998, magna cum laude, and has been board-certified as a registered dietitian since 1999. She has been a board-certified sports dietitian (CSSD) since 2006.
With more than 25 years at Ochsner Health, Molly is dedicated to providing quality nutrition & wellness content to help the community live their strongest, healthiest lives possible. Outside of nutrition and wellness, Molly enjoys spending time with her husband, being outdoors, travel, sculpture and painting.
