Biography
Dr. Nicole Charbonnet earned her medical degree from Louisiana State University Medical Center in New Orleans, and completed her residency training at Ochsner Medical Center. She is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology and is a fellow in the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Dr. Charbonnet treats obstetrical patients with low to moderate risk problems as well as gynecological patients ranging from adolescence throughout menopause. Her special interests include advanced laparoscopic surgery including total laparoscopic hysterectomy and laparoscopic adnexal surgery. Other interests include uterine preserving surgery such as hysteroscopic surgery and endometrial ablation..

Dr. Charbonnet was great! I have been dealing with some symptoms for quite a while and she is the first provider that I feel has truly listened to me instead of trying to attribute my symptoms to something else. She explained next steps and went over options in detail while also taking into consideration the risks given my complex medical history and current medications. She was quick and efficient but I still felt that she took the time to listen to me, involved me in the decision making and genuinely cared about finding a solution for me.
