Dr. Norman Hill is a pediatrician at Ochsner Health who partners with families to support children’s health and development. As both a physician and a parent, he understands the challenges of raising a child and strives to provide care with compassion, patience and respect.

Dr. Hill completed medical school at the University of Maryland and a combined pediatrics and internal medicine residency at Georgetown University. His training included experience in primary care, neonatal intensive care, and pediatric transplant medicine. He and his wife later moved to New Orleans, where he is proud to care for local families.

He values building lasting relationships with parents, listening closely to their concerns, and creating care plans that fit each family’s needs. To make care more accessible, he offers same-day sick visits and telemedicine appointments. Outside of work, Dr. Hill enjoys spending time with his wife and young daughter, going to festivals, gardening, playing guitar and practicing Spanish.
