Patrick B. Harriss, MD, FACP

Biography

Patrick Harriss, MD, is a board-certified internal medicine physician practicing hospital medicine at Ochsner Health. Dr. Harriss was born and raised in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and he graduated from Louisiana State University with a degree in biological sciences. He completed both medical school and residency at the Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in Shreveport, Louisiana. As a hospitalist, Dr. Harriss provides medical care for hospitalized patients with a wide range of diseases, and he serves as the unit-based medical director for the Ochsner Medical Center - New Orleans observation unit. Dr. Harriss is also the vice chair of operations for the Department of Hospital Medicine at Ochsner Medical Center - New Orleans.
