Paul Walker, MD, specializes in urology at Ochsner Health. Dr. Walker has expertise in robotic surgery such as robotic prostatectomy, robotic kidney surgery and robotic reconstructive surgery, and in General Urology offering comprehensive care for various medical needs, including bladder cancer, kidney cancer, prostate cancer, testicular cancer, ureteral cancer, adrenal masses, kidney stones, urinary tract infection, enlarged prostate, vasectomy, erectile dysfunction and low testosterone. Dr. Walker earned his medical degree from Louisiana State University School of Medicine in New Orleans. He then completed his urology residency at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in Shreveport, Louisiana, and a fellowship in robotic and laparoscopic surgery at Urology San Antonio in Texas. He is board-certified by the American Board of Urology. Dr. Walker actively participates in the American Urological Association and The Society of Urologic Robotic Surgeons to stay updated on medical advancements. Dr. Walker is dedicated to addressing the medical needs of his patients while understanding individual concerns and goals. Outside of medicine, he is an active member of Istrouma Baptist and a big fan of LSU sports. He enjoys fishing, reading, exercising, tennis, playing sports with his children such as baseball and basketball and spending time with his wife, children, family and friends.
