Biography
Pooja Roy, MD, specializes in primary care at Ochsner Health. She is board-certified through the American Board of Internal Medicine. She earned her medical degree from the esteemed International Medical University in Malaysia, where she laid the foundation for her medical career.
Following medical school, she pursued two years of pancreatic and hematologic cancer research at the University of Miami. Dr. Roy then completed her Internal Medicine residency at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. With a deep passion for patient-centered care, she is now delighted to establish her practice and make New Orleans her home.
