Raveen Coon, FNP-C, practices family medicine at Ochsner Health. Raveen earned her Bachelor of Science in nursing from Southeastern Louisiana University in Hammond, Louisiana, and her Master of Science in family nurse practitioner studies from Southern University and A&M College in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Prior to joining the Ochsner team, she practiced in a rural primary care setting where she addressed a wide range of acute and chronic health issues, providing comprehensive patient care. Raveen is board-certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and is an active member of several professional and service organizations, including the Louisiana Association of Nurse Practitioners, the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, and Sigma Gamma Rho sorority. Raveen is dedicated to fostering strong patient-provider relationships and addressing her patients' medical needs, while considering their individual concerns and goals. As a nurse practitioner, her primary focus is health promotion and educating her patients on their health conditions. Outside of nursing, Raven enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, watching sports, listening to music, and cuddling with her dog, Hershey.
