Szu Hsien "Rick" Ho, FNP, practices hepatology at Ochsner Health. Rick received his Bachelor of Nursing Science degree from Queens University in Kingston, Ontario. He received both his Master of Science Family Nurse Practitioner degree and Master of Science Acute Care Nurse Practitioner degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston. Rick completed clinical rotations in pediatrics, womens health, gastroenterology, cardiology, critical care and family medicine. Prior to joining the Ochsner team, he worked in Neurological Intensive Care and Medical Surgical Care as a registered nurse. Rick is board certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center. Rick is dedicated to addressing the medical needs of his patients while understanding individual concerns and goals. He is the recipient of multiple Daisy awards recognizing the extraordinary compassion provided to his patients and their families. He received the Hoag Memorial Hospital Outstanding Dedication award recognizing his commitment to voluntary services.
