Robert Quinet, MD

Dr. Quinet earned his medical degree from Cornell University Medical College and completed his internship, residency and fellowship training at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Dr. Quinet holds Diplomate certification from the American Board of Internal Medicine and is a fellow of the American College of Rheumatology and the American College of Physicians. He is also certified in clinical densitometry.,Dr. Quinet is the Director of Ochsner's Rheumatology Fellowship Program and holds Clinical Professorship at LSUHSC School of Medicine and Clinical Assistant Professorship at Tulane Medical Center both in New Orleans, LA. An active researcher, Dr. Quinet has authored numerous scientific articles and book chapters which include 40 peer reviewed publications, 5 Book Chapters and 65 abstracts. ,Honors and Award include: Alpha Omega Alpha: Weill Medical College of Cornell University, Phi Beta Kappa: Rutgers University, Listed in "Best Doctors in America, Southwest Region" 1996-2016, U.S. News Rheumatology "Best Hospitals" 1996-2000, America's Top Physicians 2003-2016,Professional Organizations include: Fellow, American College of Rheumatology (FACR), Fellow, American College of Physicians (FACP). Dr. Quinet is a terrific rheumatologist. He is knowledgeable, caring , and efficient. I dealt with repeated episodes of gout for more than 2 decade before seeing Dr. Quinet. He quickly got it under control and with regular medication I have had zero, none, no further episodes.

Dr. Quinet is an excellent doctor. Over 25 years ago, I started having pain in my hands, knees, and back. I saw a few different doctors who prescribed pain medicine. One doctor even told me it was all in my head. When I went to Dr. Quinet, he examined me, looked at all my records, and told me I had RA. He has been treating me ever since.
