Biography

A graduate of Princeton University (BA) and Yale School of Public Health (MPH), Dr. Robin Stedman earned her medical degree from Tulane University School of Medicine where she worked as an epidemiologist. She completed her internship, residency, and fellowship in anesthesiology at Ochsner. Dr. Stedman is certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology in anesthesiology, critical care medicine, and pain management. She has been on staff at Ochsner since 1987 and served as the Program Director for Anesthesiology Residency training from 2003 through June 2019. In her words, "It is our philosophy that patients must always remain the center of our attention during the training of new physicians."
