Rula Ruello received her bachelor of science degree from the University of Maryland and her first masters and post masters in Counseling from Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland, graduating with honors. She received her bachelor of science in nursing degree and her masters of science in psychiatric mental health nursing degree from the University of Alabama - Birmingham, graduating with honors. Rula completed her internship and residency at River Oaks Hospital in New Orleans in addiction, Seaside Behavioral Health with inpatient mental health, and Acadia Care in outpatient psychiatry for children and adolescents. She is board certified by American Nurses Credentialing Center and has been on staff at Ochsner since 2018. Rula Ruello has experience in treating a variety of mental health disorder including addictive disorders, psychotherapy, medication management, psychiatric evaluation and treatments for children, adolescents and adults.
