Dr. Ryan Griffin specializes in medical oncology at Ochsner MD Anderson Cancer Center. He completed a Bachelor of Science in biomedical engineering from Tulane University. He received his medical degree from Louisiana State University School of Medicine in New Orleans in 2011. He completed both his residency as well as a chief residency in internal medicine at Ochsner Medical Center - New Orleans. He also completed his fellowship in hematology oncology at Ochsner Health.Dr. Griffin is board certified in hematology, medical oncology and internal medicine. Dr. Griffin also specializes in treating cancer and blood disorders and has expertise in managing patients with lung and thoracic neuroendocrine tumors. Dr. Griffin also practices within the Ochsner Neuroendocrine Tumor Program at Ochsner Medical Center - Kenner.

He answered my questions, told me the risks, and let me make the decision.

Dr. Griffin is the best! As a newly diagnosed ESRD patient Dr. Griffin answered all my questions. He is knowledgeable and the manner in which he greeted me was one I will never forget. I was actually sorry my visit had to end! I am telling everyone I know about Dr. Griffin he is the best.

Was always informed of upcoming procedures, included of treatment and informed of my status every step of the way. Dr. Griffin always made me feel like high priority and he really cared.

Dr went over everything that he reviewed from the test and also went through other issues.

Dr. Griffin seemed to be a really great doctor. My dad and I both liked him so that was a plus. Sad to say but my father's condition took a very rapid decline so we didn't get to our chemo stage and he even called and apologized for not getting to try. Awesome doctor in my opinion from the experience and phone calls we did had.

Dr. Griffin and his staff, from the front desk assistant Ms. Fannie Anderson, the medical assistant, and himself, all were so friendly and kind. Everyone was so helpful and made me feel at ease. Definitely recommend.

I was very pleased with my visit to Dr. Griffin on Thursday. He had already viewed my chart and came in with a positive outlook; explained my condition in a way I could understand. Showed me my previous and current scans side by side and compared them; explained the good news there was no noticeable change. He also has very pleasant personality.
