Samantha M. Gomez, PA-C, provides heart transplant inpatient care at Ochsner Health,with a focus on left ventricular assist devices and heart transplant management.

A Louisiana native, she attended Southeastern Louisiana University for her undergraduate degree and received post bachelor training at University of Alabama at Birmingham. Samantha continued her masters education at Xavier University of Louisiana for Physician Assistant Studies. She is board-certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and is an active member of the American Academy of Physician Associates and the Louisiana Academy of Physician Assistants.

Samantha strives to be a compassionate and empathetic provider who practices evidence-based medicine with her fellow team members. Outside of work she enjoys reading, watching LSU athletics, and playing indoor or beach volleyball.
