Sarah Navarre, FNP, practices cardiothoracic surgical medicine at Ochsner Health. She works in the inpatient setting with the cardiothoracic surgical team at Ochsner Lafayette General Medical Center. Sarah holds a Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in nursing from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. She also holds a post master’s certification in acute care cardiovascular medicine through the University of Louisiana at Lafayette.



She is certified as a family nurse practitioner by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and is licensed as a registered nurse by the state of Louisiana. She is a member of the Louisiana Association of Nurse Practitioners, the National Society of Leadership and Success and the Sigma Theta Tau Honor Society.



Sarah has worked as a registered nurse since 2005, and has practiced as a nurse practitioner since 2019, previously working with Cardiovascular Institute of the South at Ochsner Lafayette General Medical Center. Outside of medicine, she enjoys spending time with her family, being outdoors and listening to live music.
