Sarah Freiberg Fant, PA-C, practices orthopedic spine surgery at Ochsner Health. She is a native New Orleanian and a proud alumna of Trinity Episcopal School and Isidore Newman High School. She received her bachelor of science degree in exercise science from the University of South Carolina in Columbia, South Carolina (go, Gamecocks!). She received her master of science in physician assistant studies from Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in New Orleans, and immediately joined Ochsner in the orthopedic surgery department with a focus in spine surgery in 2015. In addition to her role in orthopedic surgery, Sarah became the regional lead for advanced practice providers in surgical specialties at Ochsner Medical Center - New Orleans in 2019. She is board-certified by the National Commission On Certification Of Physician Assistants and Louisiana State Board of Medical Examiners. She is a member of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons, the American Academy of Physician Assistants and Louisiana Orthopedic Association. In her free time, Sarah enjoys gardening, running, cycling and watching the Saints.
