Dr Sarmini was excellent. He's intelligent and intuitive. I feel he is really going to help me.

I didn’t have to wait too long Dr. explained everything to me clearly answered all of my questions in detail my visit was very enjoyable

I wasn’t sure why the MD scheduled an appointment with me to tell me the same thing he told me about my diagnostics in my previous visit or what I read in my electronic medical notes, so I thought. Prior to getting notified, this recent appointment wasn’t listed in my future appointments but I went anyway. It appeared he was talking manually notes or filling out maybe a form idk but he did not share with me why he scheduled the appointment nor what he was taking manually notes for during my visit. Usually provider type in the computer like the medical assistant did when she took my vitals. When asking me questions and I talked about other medical problems associated with another part of my body he was rude and told me no I need you to focus and answer these questions, I was a little taken aback. He told me you need to go back to the surgeon that performed the procedure I told him I was discharged after two surgeries and working with 2 different PTs that MD was outside of the Ochsner system but initially referred via Ochsner’s emergency room that I wanted to have another doctor (think he look at it order X-rays) within the Ochsner system as a second opinion and so that my electronic records could be accessible to all my providers in one healthcare system. I have nothing against this MD but He seemed, very rushed I guess because they only allowed 15 min? He encouraged me to contact my former surgeon, I said okay, then he said if I wanted him to refer then send him a message in the portal

Dr. Mahmoud Sarmini is always attentive; he listens to the patient with interest in helping, answers questions and never makes me feel rushed. He has a very pleasant and professional attitude while being committed to assisting me improve my health while being both compassionate and conservative! I always appreciate and respect his knowledge, advice, experience and guidance to assist me with my health-care journey! I am thankful for Dr. Sarmini and his medical assistant!

Love Dr Sarmini… he is the best. Really cares about his patients and how they feel, even when I know he is overwhelmed and going crazy himself. He always responds back and makes you feel like he cares about you as a person.
