Savannah Truehart, MD, practices physical medicine and rehabilitation at Ochsner Health. Dr. Truehart has expertise in musculoskeletal conditions, ultrasound guided injections, nonoperative spine care, electromyography (EMG) and nerve conduction studies, neurorehabilitation, and spasticity management, including botulinum toxin injections.


Dr. Truehart earned her medical degree from Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in New Orleans in 2020. She completed her transitional year internship at Kaweah Health in Visalia, California, in 2021 and residency in physical medicine and rehabilitation at Stanford Healthcare in Stanford, California, in 2024. She is board-certified in physical medicine and rehabilitation.


Dr. Truehart participates in the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, the Association of Academic Physiatrists, and the American Association of Neuromuscular and Electrodiagnostic Medicine to stay updated on medical advancements. Dr. Truehart is dedicated to addressing the medical and rehabilitative needs of her patients while understanding their concerns and goals. She has been practicing at Ochsner following her graduation from residency in 2024. Outside of medicine, she enjoys cycling, playing pickleball and spending time with her husband and their two golden retrievers.
