Scott Bergeaux, MD, practices family medicine at Ochsner Health. He was raised in south Louisiana, and served in the U.S. Air Force. Following his service, he completed medical school at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in Shreveport, Louisiana. Dr. Bergeaux completed one year of general surgery and finished a three-year family medicine residency. Dr. Bergeaux is affiliated with Ochsner Abrom Kaplan Memorial Hospital, and he sees patients of all ages at the Primary Care Clinic of Kaplan. He also sees patients at Kaplan Health Center and Gueydan Memorial Nursing Home.



Dr. Bergeaux uses a patient-centered approach and covers health maintenance and general medical issues, allowing patients to be involved in decisions about their health. He can also perform dermatological procedures in office. He lives in Kaplan, Louisiana, with his wife and seven children. He enjoys spending time in the outdoors, hunting and fishing with his family and friends.
