Dr. Sean Bradley is a primary care sports medicine physician who joined the Ochsner team in October 2020 after completing his fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic. While at the Cleveland Clinic, Dr. Bradley worked alongside the team physicians for the Cleveland Indians and Cleveland Cavaliers, as well as the Indians minor league affiliates, the Lake County Captains and Mahoning Valley Scrappers. He served as head team physician of John Carroll University and provided care for a number of local high school athletes.Dr. Bradley received his medical degree from the Morsani College of Medicine at the University of South Florida in Tampa, Fl. He went on to complete his residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Utah in Salt Lake City, Utah, followed by a chief year in patient safety and quality improvement with the Salt Lake City VA and the University of Utah. Dr. Bradley is a board-certified Internal Medicine physician with a Certificate of Added Qualification in Primary Care Sports Medicine.Dr. Bradley cares for athletes of all ages, including acute and overuse injuries. He treats sports-related concussion and manages safe and appropriate return to play. Dr. Bradley also performs point of care musculoskeletal ultrasound and therapeutic ultrasound injections including corticosteroids, hyaluronic acid and PRP. He is also trained in minimally invasive tendon debridement or TenJet for chronic tendon injuries. He has a special clinical interest in tendinopathy and holds a strong belief that exercise is medicine.He currently serves associate team physician for the New Orleans Pelicans. He is also head team physician Brusly High School and Central High School. He currently rotates in clinic once a week at Ochsner Health Center - Central (Tuesdays from 7:30 a.m. - noon).Dr. Bradley is joined by his wife Rachel who is a practicing orthopedic and sports physical therapist with Ochsner Health. He enjoys cycling, alpine skiing, cooking and spending time with family and friends.
