Dr. Shahraam Kamalpour practices dermatology at Ochsner Health in Covington, Louisiana. Dr. Kamalpour grew up in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, where he attended Baton Rouge Magnet High school and graduated Suma Cum Laude. He earned his medical degree at Louisiana State University School of Medicine in Shreveport, Louisiana. He completed his residency in dermatology at LSU Health Sciences Center in New Orleans, and a fellowship in Mohs Micrographic Surgery and cosmetic surgery at the California Skin Institute under the tutelage of Drs. Greg Morganroth and Katharine Ball. Dr. Kamalpour is board-certified in both Micrographic Dermatologic Surgery and General Dermatology by the American Board of Dermatology and has expertise in a wide range of procedures for the treatment and prevention of skin cancers, as well as extensive training in cosmetic procedures of the skin.
