Shalan M. Randolph (“Shay”) is a progressive healthcare leader with a genuine passion for people! She holds a Masters of Science in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner from Loyola University New Orleans as well as a Master of Business from Louisiana State University College of Business. With over 21 years of consistent healthcare experiences, Shay has utilized both clinical and business knowledge to successfully advance patient healthcare experiences and positively impact health outcomes within a variety of healthcare settings. She is known for her professional attitude and being an excellent clinical leader with strong business acumen.
Shay has also held several professional and community positions which have provided a variety of skill sets that are imperative for success in today’s ever-changing healthcare environment. She is a motivated and engaged healthcare advocate for all her patients. Shay is totally committed to ensuring each of her patients receive holistic care that will result in the best healthcare outcomes.
Shay currently serves as the Advanced Practice Provider Site Lead for Ochsner Urgent Care - Southshore Region. She is a preceptor for nurse practitioner students and is also actively involved and supports local organizations such as Jack and Jill of America (South Central Region - New Orleans Chapter) and Sideline Pass, Inc. Shay believes in the power of “giving back” to others and mentoring our next future leaders.
