Biography
Dr. Lovell is a clinical social worker who has an advanced generalist therapy practice treating children, adolescents, and adults. Her practice is focused on helping vulnerable and diverse patients learn to deal with how their mental health impacts their emotional and social lives.
Case consultation with treatment team currently serves on two sections for case and peer review both child & adolescent section and with the adult behavioral health treatment section. Additionally, develops and leads psychotherapy groups, committee work, presentations, publications, and research. Works with pediatric and adult endocrinology on transgender issues.
Dr. Lovell earned her Doctor of Social Work Degree from Tulane University School of Social Work with field of study in Mental Health, Research, and Social Policy.
Dr. Lovell earned her Master of Social Work (MSW) Degree from Barry University with field of study in Mental Health; Adult and Child Counseling.
