Dr. Susan Gunn specializes in pulmonology at Ochsner MD Anderson Cancer Center. She is a native New Orleanian and is a graduate of Louisiana State University Medical School. She completed her internal medicine residency and pulmonary and critical care fellowship training at Louisiana State Health Sciences Center. She has also completed additional training in advanced bronchoscopy at Cleveland Clinic. Dr. Gunn has a special interest in thoracic oncology. She serves as the system medical director of the Lung Cancer Screening Program, identifying patients who are at risk for lung cancer and encouraging early screening. She performs many of the diagnostic and staging procedures using endobronchial ultrasound and navigation bronchoscopies using a robotic platform. Dr. Gunn is a member of the thoracic oncology multi-disciplinary team at Ochsner.
