Sydney Weaver, AGPCNP-C, practices surgical oncology at Ochsner Health. She works in the surgical specialties clinic with Dr. Jason Breaux. She has expertise in perioperative treatment of patients various types of cancer including esophageal and pancreatic, gallbladder disease and abdominal hernias.
Sydney earned both her Bachelor of Science in nursing and Master of Science in nursing degrees from Northwestern State University in Shreveport, Louisiana, in 2014 and 2018, respectively. She is board-certified by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners since 2018. Sydney also has over five years of experience in nephrology.
