Biography
Theresa Kent, MBA, MSN, APRN, FNP-C, CPHON, is the director of the H.O.P.E Survivorship Program, co-director of the Cancer Predisposition Program, and a provider on the Pediatric Stem Cell Transplant team at Ochsner. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in nursing at Holy Cross College and Master of Science in Nursing at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in New Orleans. She obtained a Master of Business Administration degree from Louisiana State University Shreveport. Theresa has over twenty years of experience in healthcare and over ten years as a provider in pediatric hematology oncology. She is an investigator with the Childrens Oncology Group. Theresa is nationally certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and the Oncology Nursing Certification Corporation. She is a member of the American Society for Transplantation & Cellular Therapy, The American Society of Pediatric Hematology/Oncology, the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, and the Louisiana Association of Nurse Practitioners. In her spare time, Theresa spends her free time with family, sports, studio art and being a cub scout leader.
