Tierney Rowe, CPNP, specializes in pediatrics at Ochsner Health. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in nursing from Southern University in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and her Master of Science degree in nursing specializing in pediatric primary care nurse practitioner studies from the University of South Alabama in Mobile, Alabama. She completed clinical rotations in pediatric primary care and pediatric otolaryngology. Prior to joining the Ochsner team, Tierney practiced as a registered nurse in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit where she obtained experience in both pediatric and neonatal critical care. She also has a background in pediatric urgent care, pediatric specialty clinic, and pre- and post-operative care. Tierney is board-certified by the Pediatric Nursing Certification Board and previously served as an instructor to phlebotomy and nursing school students. Tierney loves the pediatric population and has a passion for building long, trusting relationships with children and their families. Outside of medicine, she is a volunteer doula, frequently participates in barre exercise, and enjoys spending time with family and friends.
