Biography

Dr. Tong Yang practices pathology at Ochsner Health. Dr. Yang received his medical degree from Tianjin Medical University in Tianjin, China in 1994. He went on to complete his residency at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in New Orleans. He completed his fellowship in hematopathology and molecular genetic pathology at Emory University Hospital. Dr. Yang is board certified by the American Board of Pathology and has been on staff at Ochsner since 2017 and practicing medicine since 1994. Dr. Yang specializes in clinical diagnosis of hematopoietic and lymphoid tumors and precision medicine. He has a special clinical interest in molecular and genetic study of tumors. Dr. Yang enjoys travel and tennis in his free time.
