Viktoria Taskov, DO, is an obstetrician-gynecologist at Ochsner Health in Raceland, Louisiana. Dr. Taskov provides comprehensive care for women through every stage of life, from adolescence through menopause, including pregnancy, childbirth and postpartum care. She cares for patients with a wide range of obstetric and gynecologic needs, including preventive care, annual wellness exams, contraception counseling, family planning, pregnancy care, menstrual disorders, menopause management and minimally invasive office procedures.

Dr. Taskov earned her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree in Texas and completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in New Orleans in 2026. She is board-eligible in obstetrics and gynecology and is committed to providing high-quality, evidence-based care throughout every stage of a woman's life.

Passionate about patient education and shared decision-making, Dr. Taskov believes the best healthcare begins with listening. She has a special interest in family planning and contraceptive counseling and enjoys helping patients navigate their reproductive health with confidence. As a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine, Dr. Taskov values treating the whole person by combining evidence-based medicine with compassionate, patient-centered care. She believes in building strong relationships with her patients and creating individualized treatment plans that align with each person's unique needs, values and goals. Outside of medicine, she enjoys reading, weightlifting and spending time with her husband and their two dogs.
