Biography
Dr. Mangham earned his medical degree from Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island. He completed his residency training and a fellowship in spine surgery at the Semmes-Murphey Clinic and the University of Tennessee in Memphis, Tennessee. He is among a select group of spine surgeons in the region offering endoscopic spine surgery as an advanced treatment option.
Before pursuing medicine, Dr. Mangham graduated from the U.S. Naval Academy in 2004. Upon graduation, he joined the U.S. Marine Corps, where he served as an officer for more than five years. He completed three combat deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan and ultimately commanded a unit of 250 Marines. He was honorably discharged with the rank of captain.
