William Rasmussen, NP, practices pulmonology at Ochsner Health. He received his undergraduate bachelor of science in nursing degree from Middle Tennessee State University in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. Immediately following graduation, he began his practice as a registered nurse at Vanderbilt University starting in the adult emergency department, and later transitioning to the medical intensive care unit, where he practiced for the duration of his time in Tennessee. He received his graduate degree from The University of Tennessee - Chattanooga where he intensively studied critical care and emergency medicine. William is bored certified as an Adult Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner by the American Nurses Credentialing Center.
