Ochsner Health Center – Lockport is an adult medical practice located at the corner of Crescent Ave and Highway 1 in Lockport, just ten minutes from the Ochsner St. Anne campus. Our team treats both sudden and long-term health issues and also focuses on preventing health problems. We provide care that is both caring and easy to access.

You can call or message your doctor, schedule appointments, submit refill requests for medication and schedule preventive health reminders to help you stay on track. MyOchsner also allows you to view your results and connect your family to your records and treatment team.

Schedule an appointment
To schedule an appointment, call 985-532-1620. You may also schedule an appointment through MyOchsner.
We offer same-day and next-day appointments. We also offer virtual visits. If you are a new patient, your first virtual appointment is at the discretion of the provider. Learn more about virtual visits, here.
Please arrive 10 to 15 minutes early for your appointment. If you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, please make every effort to notify us within a 24-hour advanced notice. If your doctor is unavailable for an urgent problem, please consider allowing Ochsner to book an appointment for you with another provider.
Lab results
You'll get your lab results in the mail. If everything is normal, you should have them within 10 business days. If there's anything unusual, your doctor's office will call you once they get the results. For pap smear results, please wait about four to six weeks.
Prescription refills
If you need a prescription refill, please call your pharmacy to request it. If your pharmacist has any questions, they will contact Ochsner. Make sure the pharmacy sends your refill request to Ochsner at least three to five working days before you run out of your medication. If we don't get the notice in time, we can't promise your refill will be ready before you use up your current supply.
Ochsner On Call
Ochsner On Call lets you book appointments and get health advice any time, day or night, all week long. Specially trained nurses are ready to talk about your health concerns, help you decide if you need to go to the emergency room or see a doctor, and suggest ways to take care of yourself. This service is free, and you can reach it by calling 1-800-231-5257 or 504-842-3155.

As a person with various health issues, going to the doctor is never fun. Having said that, I have found my medical family here. Everyone from receptionist to doctor is friendly, professional and if you have questions or concerns about anything, they take the time to answer your questions, address your concerns and reassure you. You can call or use the app and someone will get back to you within an hour. I highly recommend.
