Ochsner Therapy & Wellness - Driftwood

Very appreciative of Victoria and Kristen helping me recover from unilateral vestibular hypofunction (UVH). As a competitive triathlete, my primary goal was to be able to safely and successfully ride the bike again. When I first recovered from the viral syndrome that led to the UVH, I was experiencing vertigo and bouncy vision when walking. Not knowing what this was at the time, I naively went to ride my bike as I normally would, and instantly knew something was wrong when I almost fell just putting my foot in the pedal to start the ride. Long story short, head movements created disequilibrium and instability and so thankfully however, I was able to complete that ride, but with limited ability to turn my head because it would create wobbling and veering off a straight line. As a result, I went to see a neurologist and was referred to PT. After many sessions working on my gaze stability and balance, I was able to eventually get back to safely riding again. Fast forward to today, and I recently completed my first duathlon competition and with the bare minimum goal simply finishing, but to my pleasant surprise, ended up placing 1st in my age group and the 11th overall. And the bike ride portion was fairly seamless. I was able to navigate and turn my head as needed with no issues. And since then, I've competed in two more duathlons placing 3rd and 1st in my age-group. So I'd like to express my thanks and gratitude to Victoria and Kristen for helping me achieve my main goal! The personalized care and expertise provided by Victoria and Kristen allowed me to regain my balance and confidence. I highly recommend this clinic to anyone seeking effective vestibular rehabilitation.

So I don’t know much about the people that were there, but I have physical therapy with Victoria and Kristen. Out of the other two physical therapies I’ve been to these two ladies have been doing really good. I highly recommend them. I don’t know much about the other people that were there but I do know these two they do a good job. I’ve been there at least 14 times already which I should be there more because they are making a difference. I highly recommend them

Sarah, Ryan and Kennedy are amazing people. At least the ones when I wrote this on June 26th, 2022. Very intelligent and relatable. I've recommended people to go there just because of them. Most of the other staffers are nice too, but they were the ones that dealt with me . The only downsides I saw were not being able to see at home exercise plans online via "My Chart", having to have my therapist go all the way to the back for water, which is made worse because they are usually taking care of multiple people at once. Wasn't uncommon for them to politely excuse themselves while having to help someone else, which creates down time for patients because our exercises don't always overlap well. Also means they aren't there to answer questions or catch someone if they fall. (No one did while I was there). That being said 5 out of 5. If aliens ever recruited me to conquer the rest of humanity, I'd make sure Ryan, Kennedy and Sarah so they'd get the good rations and not be dissected. 👾🛸

Awesome!!! Very knowledgeable staff and friendly customer service!!! If you have to do physical therapy then this is the location you want.

The staff was very professional and very knowledgeable. My Therapist provided suggestion on strengthening my knees, core, and legs so I stop injuring my knees.
