• 1. Current resume/CV

  Please include your cumulative graduate GPA.

• 2. Personal statement

  Address the following questions:

  • Why are you seeking a healthcare career at Ochsner?
  • Why are you pursuing an Ochsner administrative fellowship?
  • What are your post-fellowship career goals, and how will this fellowship help you achieve them?

  Formatting Guidelines:

  • Font Type: Times New Roman, Arial, or Calibri
  • Font Size: 10-point
  • Line Spacing: Single
  • Margins: One inch on all sides
  • Alignment: Left-aligned

  Requirements

  • One page
  • Introduce yourself
  • Discuss your interest in the fellowship (i.e. why Ochsner?)
  • Describe relevant experience and skills
  • Outline your career goals
  • Express your commitment to healthcare leadership
  • Include a reflection that highlights an experience shaping your career choice
  • Please address:
    • Is your graduation date before June 2027? Note: to start the fellowship, a master's degree is required unless the student's program requires a fellowship to graduate.
    • Does your master's program require a fellowship to graduate? If so, when do you complete the didactic portion of your program?

  Deadline: Must be received by Aug. 28, 2026 at midnight

• 3. Two letters of recommendation

  Please provide one academic and one professional letter. Each letter must include the recommender's name, title, contact phone number and signature.

  Submission Options:

  • Include the letters within your PDF packet.
  • OR have references send them directly to adminfellow@ochsner.org with your full name in the email subject line.

  Deadline: Must be received by Aug. 28, 2026 at midnight

• 4. Unofficial graduate school transcript

  Please include with your application.

  Note: An official transcript will be required upon hire.
