Required Application Qualifications

We are now accepting applications for our Finance fellowship!

This fellowship is only offered in the Southshore (New Orleans/Metairie) region. Ochsner reserves the sponsorship of H-1 Visa's for its medical staff only and does not sponsor administrative fellows' citizenship.

Education

Required:

  • Master of Finance or Accounting
  • Master of Business Administration with Finance Concentration
  • Master of Healthcare Administration or Master in Public Health (requires undergraduate concentration in finance/accounting)
  • Or other related accredited graduate program with undergraduate concentration in finance/accounting with a minimum 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale

Work Experience

Preferred

  • Proven success adapting and contributing effectively within fast-paced, evolving professional environments, including examples of navigating change, managing competing priorities, and collaborating across teams

Knowledge Skills and Abilities (KSAs)

  • Ability to define project objectives, identify stakeholders, plan steps, and allocate resources to achieve objectives in a resourceful manner.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills and ability to present information clearly and professionally to varying levels of individuals.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office — Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent analytical skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong presentation skills.
  • Excellent leadership skills and ability to demonstrate good judgement.
  • Basic project management skills.

Job Duties

  • Collaborates with company executives and key stakeholders.
  • Performs other related duties as required.

    Work directly with 1-2 hospital-based CFOs to provide support and learn about the hospital in their region.
