Dr. Noah Pores received his medical degree from St. George’s University in Grenada in 2011. He went on to complete his internship and emergency medicine residency at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center in Newark, New Jersey, where he also served as chief resident.

Dr. Pores is board certified by the American Board of Emergency Medicine and has been on staff at Ochsner since 2014. Dr. Pores is a specialist in emergency resuscitation and airway management and can evaluate and treat all types of medical issues. He has a special clinical interest in shock, pulmonary embolism, stroke, and heart attack management. He also enjoys teaching students and residents at the bedside.

In addition, Dr. Pores serves as the section head of the emergency departments at Ochsner Medical Center - Kenner and St. Charles Parish Hospital. He sits on various committees in the hospitals and is dedicated to improving processes, quality, and patient safety.

Dr. Pores enjoys spending his free time cooking with his wife, Dr. Gia Mehrtens, playing with their two children and golfing.
