Abbygail Jeansonne, MSN, APRN, FNP-C, BMTCN, is a dedicated nurse practitioner specializing in bone marrow transplant at Ochsner Health. Her journey in healthcare began when she earned an associate degree in nursing from the Charity School of Nursing in New Orleans. She later earned her Bachelor of Science in nursing from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, followed by a Master of Science in nursing from the University of South Alabama.

Abby developed a strong clinical foundation and a deep passion for caring for patients with complex hematologic conditions while working as a registered nurse in a high-acuity oncology and hematology unit. That experience led to her transition into advanced practice, where she now provides comprehensive, patient-centered care to individuals undergoing hematological treatment and bone marrow transplantation.

Certified as a blood and marrow transplant certified nurse, she is recognized for her expertise, compassionate care, and collaborative approach to treatment. Abby is especially passionate about supporting patients and families through the transplant journey. She is committed to advancing outcomes through education, advocacy and evidence-based practice. She has been practicing as a nurse practitioner since 2025. Outside of Ochsner, she enjoys reading, going to the beach and spending time with her husband and children.
