Biography
Alexis Thompson, RD, LDN, CLT, practices nutritional counseling at Ochsner Fitness Center. Alexis offers expertise in weight loss, weight management, disease management and counseling. Other services available include Metabolism Testing (Resting Energy Expenditure via BodyGem) & Body Composition Analysis (via InBody).
Alexis is dedicated to addressing the nutrition needs of her clients and patients, taking into consideration their individual concerns and goals. Alexis enjoys connecting with clients on a personal level as she guides and supports their positive lifestyle changes: “I love seeing my clients have fun as they learn and grow, improving their mind and body wellness along the way.”
After earning her Bachelor of Science degree in Dietetics from Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, in 2010, she completed Louisiana Tech University’s Dietetic Internship in 2011. She has been practicing at Ochsner Fitness Center since 2011. Outside of nutritional counseling, she enjoys spending time with her family.
