Biography
Dr. Allison Smith is a licensed psychologist at Ochsner Health. She earned her PhD in Clinical Psychology from the University of Kansas. She completed a pre-doctoral internship at the James A. Haley Veterans' Hospital in Tampa, Florida, and she completed her post-doctoral fellowship at the Cognitive Behavioral Therapy Center of New Orleans. Dr. Smith currently provides individual and group therapy for adults relating to stress, depression, anxiety, and emotion regulation difficulties. Dr. Smith currently sees patients through the Brief Evidence-Based Psychotherapy Clinic (BEBP), STeP Clinic, Intensive Outpatient Program, and psychological assessment service. At this time, Dr. Smith only accepts internal referrals through the above programs.
