Amy Rabalais, MD

Dr. Amy Rabalais practices pediatric otolaryngology at Ochsner Health in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. She attended the University of Texas for her undergraduate studies and earned her medical degree from Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in New Orleans. She completed her otolaryngology residency at Louisiana State University. Dr. Rabalais is trained in all areas of general otolaryngology.

In November of 2023, Dr. Rabalais was named the Vice President of Medical Affairs in Baton Rouge. Since joining Ochsner in 2010, she has been very involved in recruiting for the Group Practice in Baton Rouge while holding numerous leadership positions, including Otolaryngology Department Chair and Medical Director of The Grove Surgical Hospital. She was also named New Physician Leader of the Year in 2021.

Dr. Rabalais is the best communicator I have ever had as a provider. She aligns herself with the patient and presents options in a professional way.

Dr. Rabalais has the best bedside manner and made us feel comfortable immediately. She not only addressed our concerns, she went the extra mile to fix the issue quickly.

Mrs. Amy was one of the best doctors I have ever spoken to in regards to my son. Very informative,answered all of my questions. I felt like I had informed consent when I left and had the ability to make my own best decision for my son with the correct information. All doctors should take notes on how to be a doctor from her. For the first time in years I left a doctors office feeling confident and at ease.

I saw both Ms Stebbins and Dr Rabalais 7 days ago. Both were exceptional in their thorough examination and bedside manner. After 6 days I have not experience any dizziness which is what I why I went to Ochsner. Highly recommended and so glad I went to the doctor.
