Dr. Bern Lee completed his Ph.D. in clinical psychology at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas where he had a strong training emphasis on neuropsychological assessment and research. He completed his pre-doctoral internship at the Henry Ford Health System in Detroit, MI, in the Neuropsychology track. He then continued his neuropsychology training at the University of Virginia Health System/ Western State Psychiatric Hospitals APPCN-member neuropsychology fellowship program, where he served as chief fellow during his second year. He specializes in assessment of cognitive and daily living changes that may occur in a broad range of neurologic concerns; chiefly dementia syndromes, traumatic brain injury (TBI) and concussion, Epilepsy, Stroke, central nervous system infections, and psychiatric illness. His research focuses on development of neuropsychological tests and normative data, central nervous system sequelae of neurodegenerative disease, and cognition in serious mental illness, particularly schizophrenia spectrum disorders.
