Born and raised just west of Baton Rouge, Brooke received her baccalaureate degree in Chemistry from Louisiana State University. Wanting to pursue a career in medicine, she initially worked at a local compounding pharmacy making medications from capsules to sterile preparations and medical research formulations. Drawn to helping others, she returned to formal education and obtained her Masters of Medical Science from Our Lady of the Lake College. After becoming a Board-Certified physician assistant, she took a job specializing in dual services of Trauma surgery & Neurosurgery for 6 years, serving as the Physician Assistant Supervisor for the Neurosurgery service line and Advanced Practice Provider of the Neurocritical Care Unit. She now brings her knowledge and passion to invest in her patients to Oschner as a member of our Orthopedic surgical team. When not in the operating room, Brooke enjoys spending time with her family & hosting get togethers for any occasion - especially cheering on the Tigers!
